Garter Tower Christmas Illuminations
Windsor Castle will again be the backdrop for daily spectacular creative projections, with kind permission of Her Majesty The Queen.
Standing over 50ft high, Garter Tower is illuminated with images of the stained glass architecture and motifs from St George’s Chapel dating back to the 15th century.

Christmas at Windsor Castle
Just for the season there are special displays at Windsor Castle. These include:
Exclusive Evening Tours - a behind-the-ropes experience in the State Apartments. Discover more about the Castle’s 1,000-year history, enjoy a glass of champagne and receive a complimentary copy of the official souvenir guidebook.
Great Kitchen Tours - this is a rare opportunity as the Kitchen is not usually open to the public.
The Undercroft Café - located in the oldest surviving medieval space in the Castle, will be serving a festive-themed winter menu.

Windsor & Eton Living Advent Calendar
This is a fun way to discover Windsor with the Christmas spirit.
At 6.15pm every night up to Christmas Eve there will be a special surprise 15-minute Christmas themed performance at various locations in Windsor and Eton (usually followed by some Christmas-themed nibbles for guests).

Windsor Great Park Illuminated
Spend the evening in Windsor Great Park and watch it come alive with dazzling lights and breath-taking projections.
The light trail will take you on a multi-sensory journey through a dreamlike laser-scape, a cathedral of light, and past fountains of flowers, woodland creature holograms and many more. There will be food, mulled wine,hot chocolate, and you can toast marshmallows at one of the fire pits.

Windsor on Ice
It's that time of the year! Bring out the ice skates.
Windsor's Ice skating is at Alexandra Gardens. Minutes from the town centre and perfect for everyone. There is a viewing area with food hot drinks and some attractions are under cover, so non skaters can relax and stay warm.
